Most body treatments are enjoyed while wearing your own underwear. However, please dress to your comfort level. During treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. It is recommended that makeup be removed prior to receiving facial services.
We use sweet almond oil (lightweight, nourishing, great for all skin types) for body massage. If you have any allergies, please let us know in advance.
If you prefer to use your own oil, feel free to bring it with you.
For facial massage, we use a moisturizer that is gentle and suitable for sensitive skin.
Health Considerations
For your safety, we may refuse service in certain medical situations. We do not provide massage treatments for individuals with:
• Hernia
• Slipped disc (spondylolisthesis)
• Osteoporosis
• Heart disease
If you’re pregnant, please consult your doctor first. Recent surgery (cosmetic, plastic, or other procedures) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Clients who are menstruating can receive treatment unless they have severe discomfort. Pregnant clients can typically receive a massage after the first trimester (from week 13 onward), as long as they have their doctor’s approval.
Medical Conditions & Massage Restrictions
Massage may not be suitable for some conditions. Please consult a doctor before booking if you:
• Have swelling, inflammation, or varicose veins
• Have skin conditions, open wounds, or infections
• Have a hernia, arthritis, or gout
• Have a history of embolisms, aneurysms, or seizures
• Are undergoing cancer treatment or have heart issues
• Have uncontrolled diabetes or high blood pressure
• Have numbness, tingling, or paralysis
• Have any undiagnosed medical conditions
Important Reminder
Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions or pregnancy before your appointment. If you’re unsure whether massage is safe for you, consult your doctor first.
For optimal results, we recommend the following treatment regimen:
• Initial Phase: Begin with treatments every 2-3 weeks for a total of 5 sessions to proactively target areas of concern.
• Maintenance Phase: After the initial phase, we recommend monthly treatments to maintain and reinforce the benefits of the treatments.
As the body adapts to habits, lifestyle, and age, muscles and bones can become more challenging to correct and realign. For skeletal adjustments, we suggest a minimum of five sessions for significant results, followed by ongoing maintenance to ensure lasting benefits.
